OT? Is it really effective??

Went back on saturday to work. As we are changing system, we had to do alot of testing before we go "live" later this month. Woke up in the morning and really dragged myself out of bed (it was raining and sooo nice to sleep). I think all my colleagues felt the same way. The only consolation was we "chopped" our boss, ordering him to get us breakfast. :)

Saw alot of things during the one day of overtime. Ha.. saw how some colleagues diligently try their best to do the testing. (like me too!) Some chatting on the phone for long period and pretend to do something. Some walking around on the pretext of checking what errors the new system has encountered and try to explain the cause of these errors. (pls lor... do more talk less can? If not we can never finish testing and gotta do more OT). Some washed their cups for a very long time (like half an hour). Some taking long lunches... etc etc...

By the end of the day, we were supposed to complete testing 300 cases but then i think we only managed less than half of the targets. -_-

Sigh... In life, we really come across alot of people with different personalities. It takes all kinds in this world..

BTW, i got to claim 1 day off in lieu of the OT i did. Yippeee.... !
