Failure? Or just on the way to success?

After our first trial at making dumplings the other time, Bunny wants to try making the dumpling skin himself instead of buying the ready-made ones. Well, this time, he blamed me for the outcome of the skin as i accidentally added too much water and thus had to put in more flour. Though i argued with him, its still the same cos i added more water and flour at the same time, it wouldn affect the texture, only resulted in a larger dough... (isn't it?)

Well, we got no meat at home so i thought of adding carrot and cabbage. (my mum used to make veggie springrolls during Qing Ming for my ah gong) The result of our masterpiece, the dough too stiff, became bread-like after we fried it. The fillings too bland as we did not add any seasoning. I burnt most of them by the way. The tiny odd looking ones are mine.

The only one that came out rather nicely was wrapped by myself and cooked by Bunny. Its the only one that looks presentable enough. Ho ho..
