PULAU UBIN TRIP

PULAU UBIN TRIP
Dont laugh but this is my first trip to Ubin. Okay... i know mountain turtle right? I was already labelled as "sua ku" by Mr Bunny already, so dont add fuel to fire. To undo the labelling, bunny decided to bring me cycling at Ubin.
Alright, we reached the tropical island at around 11+, before taking the boat, we went round looking for shops selling mass tin as we are planning to cook over at the island. There was only one shop selling it and i remembered learning from my economics class, a monopoly industry can charge a higher price since they are the only one selling the item. -_-
We started our adventure after renting the bikes. Our destination was Chek Jawa where Bunny said he know of a place we can set up our outdoor cooking session. After cycling for about an hour, we ended up at our starting point and realised we took one wrong turning. DArn!!! Now, we got to start again! Pity me, a novice cyclist and have to overcome those steep slopes. By then, i was so tired that i started pushing the bike up the slopes instead.
We reached Chek Jawa at about 1 odd. The place was filled with the smell of seaweed as it was low tide then. There were little crabs crawling around the area as well.
Bunny : OPS!... we forgot to buy something
(bunny turned and looked at me in shock!)
(i thought for a while...)
Me : Liew... we forgot to buy lighter..... how to cook...!
As usual, the losers curse is still lingering on me.. -_-
Suddenly, it started to pour and we ran back to our bikes. Double Darn.... we cycled back to one of the palliivon and decided to lunch there instead. With no lighter to start cooking, we could only eat our tuna and bread. We rested for a while then continued to cycle back to the jetty.
By the time we reached the jetty, my butt was already splitting into 2.. We rested at one of the eating places there and enjoyed a plate of fruits.
It was a tiring day but was worth it.
