Shopping trips can make one feel more depressed
Yes yes yes... its true, the more you shopped, the more depressed you feel. At least it happened to me recently. When you wanted to find something so badly but nothing seemed to suit your liking. When you tried so hard to get something, but in the end found nothing. Familiar huh?? hmmm
Was hunting for ROM gown these few weeks and went all over Orchard, (literally from one end to the other end of Orchard), Bugis, City Hall, Marina, Suntec City. The dresses are either too short, too bright, too ugly, too revealing... well, in short i dun like them.
Finally, yesterday went to the Daniel Yam at Suntec City and spend a long time trying almost all the dresses there. In the end, i picked 2 dresses which i found most appropriate. The first one is a deep purplish flowy tube dress which bunny picked right in the first place. I din think much of it til i tried and Woah.... not bad siah... bunny, you got taste. The second one is an usual white satin gown. A typical ROM dress. I like the elegant feel of the dress. However, advice from the salesperson was the purple one is more versatile as it can be wore for other events as well. The white gown will probably end up as a white elephant once it has served its purpose after my ROM.
Hmmmm.... true true.... pretty wise of her. So, i ended up choosing the purple dress. With the most important item on my ROM checklist struck off, i feel more ready for the big day. Ha...

It is abit hard trying not to put on weight. You had been eating and swallowing tons of FATS, like roti prata, mcdonalds french fries, japanese food, etc......
Hmm.... maybe around May, we go shop for another dress... hahaha...
