Little white expensive ivory...

Went for a dental check up today and it costs me over 100 bucks.. :(

Did 2 fillings and a routine cleaning up. It was the longest time i ever sat on the dentist chair and the longest time i opened my mouth in front of a stranger. I cant seemed to find a suitable position for my tongue whenever the dentist is in the process of cleaning my teeth. Should i let my tongue lie flat below or should i raise it high in the air? Will my tongue bother the dentist work in process?

Or maybe i think too much? ahha..
