Believe in yourself

Dont you find yourself asking questions which you dont want to know the answers? Or maybe i should rephrase it - hoping to hear only the answers that you want to hear? Humans are a strange lot i guess.

My friend just went to a fortune teller recently and was told to attend more wedding dinners in the coming year as this will increase her chances of hooking up a partner. -_-
Well, of cos if you attend more social functions, the possibility of meeting your other half is higher. Im sure you dont need to pay the fortune teller to tell you that. Well, call me skeptical, there are certain predictions i think are just plain logical if you think again.

I have never been to a fortune tell before, not because i dont believe in them but just that i dont want to know anything that's negative. HA... very typical i guess. Though sometimes i do want to find out what the future holds for me. Nevertheless, if i am told things will not go smoothly for me, im sure i will feel depressed. What a dilemma! Want to know yet scare to know. So i guess i should just wait and find out for myself what life has in store for me. Isn this what life's all about? Searching, trying an error, venturing out there to get a taste of life? So why should we entrust our future and hopes to some fortune teller? I guess be it fortune telling or drawing lots, it should be used only as a reference.
