Shocking piece of news....

For those whom do not know yet.... this may come as a surprise... i will be going for my MOE interview for teacher this coming friday. @_@ yeah... shocked? I am quite surprised by myself as well, i have never imagine i will go and apply for teaching. Most of you must be wondering why? Wondering is it becos too many people went into teaching and i was tempted?
Well, there are a few reasons.

Firstly, i am sick and tired of insurance line. Its not my cuppa tea and i do not want to be engrossed in fabrication of profits everyday, entertaining with the agents and brokers just to get in businesses.

2ndly, my dream is to teach in special schools.. (not the SAP schools hor but those children with problems). Ya, i know this may sounds strange. Who in the right mind will want to go teach this certain group of children? Well.. that's the main reason why i chose to teach in special school! because the supply of teachers in normal schools will always be there but only a handful of people will choose to teach the alternative group. For me, i think it is more meaningful... My plan is to go into normal stream teaching and with the experience, i feel it is easier for me to achieve my dream.

Ops.. i guessed these are the main reasons. I hope im making the right choice. I am nervous of what the future holds for me. Whether i can tahan the students playing tricks on me (btw, i am teaching secondary school ang mo), whether i will break down and kowtow to them and wave my little white flag.

Sigh, this is an exciting year for me, there are so many changes in my life. I dont know if i can handle everything that is coming my way. But the interview is scheduled on Friday, i dont even know if i will pass it..? hahaha. wish me luck ba
